The Salt+Gold Session
A different perspective can change what you see. And what you do next.
Step into a 90 minute depth-mentorship conversation to untangle what’s on your mind.
When you've thought about it from every angle you know
Perhaps there's a decision you keep revisiting.
A situation you understand intellectually but can't quite reconcile with how you feel. A familiar pattern that seems to appear in different parts of your life.
You've considered the practical realities. Talked it through with people you trust. Looked at your own part in it. Maybe you've received plenty of advice.
And yet, something still doesn't quite fit.
Sometimes that's because the different parts of an experience have been considered separately. What's happening around you. What's happening within you. What matters to you.
Each may make sense on its own, but the relationship between them can tell a different story.
That's where our conversation begins.
what we explore together
You bring whatever you're trying to understand, question or find your way through.
It might involve work, leadership, identity, relationships, ambition, change, grief, desire or a decision about the direction of your life. We won't assume the question you arrive with is necessarily the whole question.
I'll listen closely, ask questions and reflect back what I'm noticing. We might examine an assumption, explore a contradiction or consider something you've been approaching from only one direction.
I'll also bring my own experience and judgement to the conversation.
Having spent more than fifteen years navigating complex organisations, markets, regulation and leadership, I'm accustomed to examining complex variables, recognising patterns and understanding the relationship between people, systems and decisions. Alongside that, I draw on psychology, intuition and the less easily explained dimensions of human experience.
That combination allows us to consider both the circumstances you're navigating and your experience of them, without reducing everything to either an external problem or something you need to change about yourself.
Sometimes I'll challenge an interpretation. Sometimes I'll offer a different one. Sometimes the most useful thing will be a question neither of us expected to ask.
It's a collaborative exploration, but you won't be doing all the work alone.
what you walk away with
You won't leave with a generic corporate roadmap or a set of homework tasks. Instead, you walk away with:
Cohesive clarity: An understanding of why something has felt so difficult to reconcile, mapping how your psyche, your circumstances, and your meaning have been colliding.
Synthesised perspective: A clear view of the blind spots you've been missing and the real boundaries of your situation.
A concrete written anchor: A tailored, post-session written synthesis capturing the core insights, questions, and shifts so you stop spinning in circles.
